The Royal Welsh Show is the biggest agricultural show in Europe. It takes place every July at Llanelwedd, near Builth Wellsh in the county of Powys, Mid Wales, the show is organised by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, which was formed in 1904.
This year 23-26 of July more than 64,000 people attended the show from Wales and around the British Isles Europe and beyond, the show represents Welsh agriculture and horticulture but is also a great place for young people to mix and have a good time with friends, and is also a great place to come for a day out with the family! Watch shows at the main ring take part in events, go and buy souvenirs and clothes and buy Welsh made food from Welsh farmers, see Wales in one show!
The Royal Welsh shows Welsh culture and how agriculture plays a big role in making Wales what she is today, but most importantly how agriculture is important to us all, as it is where most of our food is made. It is bringing Wales to the world and the world to Wales in one big national show.
